Euan Rellie

Co-Founder and Senior Managing Director at BDA Partners

Euan Rellie is co-founder and Senior Managing Director of BDA, based in New York. He is also President of BDA Advisors Inc., the firm’s registered broker-dealer. Since founding BDA in 1996, Mr. Rellie has lived in Singapore, New York and London, and worked in China, Taiwan, Korea, Japan, India and the Middle East. 1990-1996, he worked for Schroders, the UK investment bank now part of Citigroup, in New York, London and Singapore. He was Head of SE Asia Execution for Schroders Asia-Pacific Regional Advisory Group. His clients have included AgFeed, Axa, C. R. Bard, Dainippon Ink & Chemical, DuPont, Ecolab, Hanjin, ICICI, Intel, Kraft Foods, Life Technologies, Lubrizol, Materion, Nalco, Pfizer, Philip Morris, Platinum Equity, Sara Lee, Sigma-Aldrich, Tenneco, Terex, ThomsonReuters, and Wockhardt.

 

He was educated at Eton and Trinity College, Cambridge. He was named 2014 North American Investment Banker of the Year and one of the Top 50 Global M&A Dealmakers (by The Global M&A Network), and Dealmaker of the Year in 2012 and 2016 (by The M&A Advisor).

Jason Chen

Managing Director, Knights Investment Group

Mr. Chen is the Managing Director of Knights Investment Group (KIG), a US-based Private Equity firm which focuses on natural resource, agriculture, renewable energy, real estate and health care sectors in Greater China.

Prior to joining KIG in 2010, Mr. Chen served as a portfolio manager at Bank of New York Mellon, where he was responsible for managing $71 billion fixed income assets. Between 2001 and 2004, Mr. Chen was a trader at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation in New York. From 1998 to 2000, he worked at Metropolitan Life Insurance Company (MetLife), where he was engaged in managing a $7.5 billion portfolio consisting of private placements, stocks, corporate bonds, U.S. treasury bonds and options. 

Mr. Chen is the co-Head of CP Capital Group USA. In addition, he is the founder of "Wall Street Ren", a non-profit organization for Chinese-American on Wall Street. Mr. Chen received his Master in Financial Engineering from Columbia University.

Yiting Shen

Global Head of External Network Management for Treasury & Trade Solutions (TTS) at Citigroup

Yiting is the Global Head of External Network Management for Treasury & Trade Solutions (TTS) at Citigroup. Previously, she was the Global Head of Cross-Border Payments, primarily focusing on RMB, and JPY. While in London, she was responsible for TTS strategic planning ($8Billion revenue, 95 countries, ~15,000FTEs). She also champions business model innovation.

 

Prior to joining Citi, Yiting co-founded an education consulting firm for Chinese Youth career planning. She was a management consultant with Booz Allen Hamilton based in London specializing in financial services. Yiting also worked in Middle East, Africa, Korea, China, and India. Yiting started her career in M&A in New York.

 

Yiting holds an MS and a BS from Columbia, an MPA from Harvard Kennedy School of Government (HKS), and an MBA from MIT Sloan. She is the President of Asian Columbia Alumni Association, the President of HKS New York Alumni Network. She is on the Board of the Columbia Engineering School Alumni Association, and the HKS Alumni Association.
